Okeay... i am new but i have a few problems and need some help! i can't not veiw java related stuff or movies online... Like windows media player when i open a link doesn't work... i tried downloading the lastes macromedia flash player and shockwave player... i even downloaded the lastes windows media player.

Next question is i can't get my mpgs movies to work on my windows media player any more since i updated ... so i installed windows media player classic and real player... and for music installed musicmatch jukebox.

3rd question is ... how can i tell if my virus scanner is working along with spy ware... i have 2 tpyes of spyware and one virus scanner. they are: Microsoft spy ware, spy ware killer, and avg free edition. plus i just got rid of Quak spy ware 3.0 something on my own.

i just got hijack this and this is the report it gave me:

I would uninstall Spyware Killer Pro.

And get Spybot S&D (http://www.spybot.info/)

Or Ad-aware Personal (http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/)

But I still get no pictures on my login screen

What login screen? You mean you dont get any pics on the desktop?

Watch movies... or animation clips... nothing at all

What program are u using for this? Movies, as in DVD's you mean?

This isn't what Flash, Java, or Shockwave, are for.

Did you run that smitrem file in safe mode??

What happens when u click on the circle or square in the browser??

Take a snapshot (press prt scr on the keyboard), paste it into a paint program, if u have one.

Upload it here (http://www.imagef1.net.nz/upload/) and paste the link it gives u back here.

Try going to Tools / Internet Options / Advanced. And tick show pictures. If this option is unticked, (Under the multimedia heading, then OK). If you're using Internet Explorer.

See what happens then.

That site is OK from here. All of the flash boxes came up.

Does it work for your account and not your parents??

Or doesnt it work, when you're under either account??

I would say its a flash or shockwave prob. Most probably flash.

There's nothing else on that site but flash windows.

Is this where you tried to download the flash plugin from??

Here (http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash)

For IE, and Firefox.

Or I would uninstall Java, and reinstall it. See if that fixes something.

The file is here (http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp)

Umm, do you see a bar under the address bar in IE??

Something saying this site might require the following activex control: And at the end of it, click here to install?

Did you click on it so flash installs?? You have to allow it to run, before it installs the files for flash.

Go here (http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_ie/)

Top right hand corner. Where it says download latest version. Download it.

Close IE, then install it. See if this fixes it.

Good!

Get Ccleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com)

This will get rid of all the crap / temp files on the hdd.
