need now to get a router/spliters ?
have a Intel Mac that has airport ? take that to mean thats a built in wireless modem
I want to use voip without having to have the comp on /usb/skype
a router with built in security
with a bit of range and the ability to connect in say 4 computers
have no real TV reception here so hoping to ride the tech wave and use this connection for most everything....
would like also to have a small web site iweb?? maybe
presume I need some sort of card for the 533 celuron that I have survived on for the last 5 years of so , also spliter for telecom ph
future proof as possible
have no money left so as inexpensive as possible would be good
can the people here please tell me the best way / equipment to do this

thaks very much

Well.. I'd choose a Linksys over anything. Not sure about the features though, but I just haven't needed anything else. And by the way.. do not buy NetGear... It's plain bad hardware.

the 4 computers - are some of them wired? ie ethernet, or all wireless? I'd go wireless cards for the others - and ride them all off the one base station.
