Is there anything i should or shouldn't do whenever adding all my components into a new case?

Ensure the case has everything you need!

I brought a case and it had no reset switch on it at all anywhere. Only way to reset is to hold the power button for more than 5 seconds. Also make sure it comes with a power supply sufficient for what is going into it and that it will take the motherboard that you intend to put in it.

Fans are also a major if you have powerful stuff you are putting in and generates heat. Need a good way to get it out and get good case cooling and draft across the components.

RTFM is probably important if you haven't done this before.
And remember not to force anything.
Attach the CPU and HSF to the MB before you put the MB into the case.
Test it before you tidy up your cables and put the lid back on.

If the holes in the fan grill are too small, your fan will make a lot of noise. It won't do any harm to cut out the fan grill if it is no good (but be sure you are not going to return the case first)

Check that you are getting a good quality fan with your system, or buy one seperatly. More quieter that way.
