Ok, so I want to record some video (w/audio) directly from my PS2 to my video editing program. I am setting up everything proplerly (I think) but I cannot get the sound to come in properly. I have a capture card with input slots for composite AV jacks. I simply plug in the AV cord from the PS2 and insert the white, red, and yellow jacks into the slots by color yet I only get video.

Can anyone help me with this or am I doing something wrong?

Two possibilities...

1) Ensure that the software is set to record audio from the capture card.

2) You may require a RCA to 3.5mm stereo audio jack that fits on the end of the PS2 AV cable which you would then plug into your sound card. You would then set the software to capture audio from your soundcard's line in input.

that's all I can think of.

cheers
