I've aquired an old HP 5M laser printer in great condition, but without any cables. What cables do I need?

Thanks.

You should take a look on the back.

I believe there's up to four possibilities. Some had JetDirect cards, with a CAT5 network connection. Otherwise you're looking at one of two types of parallel printer cables.

This was a very hardy printer, and well supported. Should be no problem finding cables, cartridges, drivers.

Just a standard Parallel printer cable will do. I have a spare one if you want? PM me if you do want it.

Thanks pal. But I assume my one from my old Deskjet 600 will work?

I kinda assumed that in the first place, and that I'd use a regular power cable, but my Deskjet power cable had a transformer/box/thingy stuck to it, so I wasn't quite so sure.

As a couple of others have stated, in some areas I'm a serious n00b.
