ok in every game i play all the sudden textures in certain spaces will just trun into checkeres colors or flash around colorfully.its been doing this for awhile and it has nothing to do with driver diplay and i kno this for a fact now.(a year working with it).sometimes if i leave my computer off for like 2 days and come bak the games will work for atleast 4 hours then go bak to the missing corrupt textures.i want to kno if it has to do with like open gl or something.ANYONE THAT CAN FIX THIS I WILL CALL YOU THE MASTER OF THE 9800XT.

What are your system specs? What games are you playing?

How long have you had this card and did you buy it new?

As suggested it could be faulty video RAM, but to be on the safe side I would check all your other compopnents as well.

cheers

Try some cooling, then a new card.

Try "underclocking" it, if that's possible on that card. :D That would give marginal memory more of a chance to work.

Run atitool (http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/) and look at the clock rates and temperatures (if supported in that card model).

Its faulty. You should have got it sorted when it first started to occur - now theres no chance of a warranty replacement...New card time....
