I have a Legend 1 gig memory pen that was working OK - but after laying idle for a while has come up with an annoying problem. when I plug it in Win XP recognises it and creates a 'USB folder' in explorer, but when I click on it an error message comes up saying there is 'No disk' Anyone know a fix?

Unless you had valuable data on it try right click and format. Make sure any switch on it is set to write once you decide to try this.

thanks for the prompt response. I tried the format, scan, defrag tools - when I click on them the dialogue box disappears - or just doesn't do anything

Hello there. Have you tried using the pen drive on another computer?

Cheers :)

Sounds like it's dead. Is it still under warranty?

As somebody said, have you filed a complaint to the place where you bought the memory stick?

Cheers :)
