what is the difference between

a) DDR and DDR 2
b) different numbers/frequencies i assume such as DDR2 533 vs DDR2 667
c) cheap variants and expensive ones

???

Better then cheap (Dude,check out my benchmark,its better then your's!!!)

overcloker,gamer,more money then sense,wants to be it for 5 min. until the next greatest ram in the world hits the street,yet again....

But too cheap is likely to be rubbish and have a low warranty.
Best to get something in the middle, and reliable with a decent warranty.
