Set up a Hotmail account, plaster you addy all over the place by subscibing to all sorts of dubious newsletters, visit adult sites and ask for free**** in your email. Wait a couple of days check out the junkmail folder and open emails with attachments.

(Better make sure your AV is up to date.)

eeer there are AV test files that contain virus code, but I don't think they do anything as such.

I used to know a site where virus source code was freely available to download......i downloaded one so that i could carry a 'non activeated' virus, (well jsut the code actaully) on a floppy so I could actually SHOW customers whom i'd installed a/v software what happened when it picked up a virus and how to deal with it..........thik i had the 'i love you' code...........take a google for virus source code download and you'll find some........

Install Win XP with no patches and firewall. Connect to internet and use IE with ActiveX enabled (i.e. no security options) and browse warez, serial or porn sites.

Download anything at all - one of the .exes will be a virus. Know idea what sort.
Personally I'd stick to explaining not demonstating.
