What is the specific model of your wireless card? What have you tried to use to access your Tungsten Palm? KPilot?

DSE do have Linux drivers for that wireless card (found under the Support section), however they look quite old.

You may already have the required drivers and support for that card. Have you tried to configure it using the KWiFiManager? Not sure where Mandrake has this on their menus, but look around for Network Configuration (under the Internet section?)

KPilot is the KDE replacement for the Palm software. You can read more about it here (http://www.slac.com/pilone/kpilot_home/index.php). Have a look under Kontacts menu and you should find the PalmOS settings. If you can't find Kontacts, then look around under Office, Preferences or Accessories until you find the program.

This article (http://www.linuxforums.org/news/article-30174.html) may be of interest to you as well.

thanks for your help Jen, unfortunitly I'm having to do this remotely from across town so I don't have the computer in front of me, just passing on info..
It seem's the computer might have bigger issues with the hardware at the moment, ( seperate thread)
