Yup, I would say it will.

The other PC here, so it says in the manual, only supports PC1600/PC2100/PC2700 ram, but it's running on 1 GB DDR 400 ram.

It'll most probably take the memory down to 333 speed.

Altho, some mobos may NOT like DDR ram it cant handle. And may not run.

There shouldn't be any hassles. The 400 RAM will just run at 333 speed.

My mobo supports 333 RAM but is running DDR 400 (at 333 speed)

Yes this is true but some boards will clock the ram down to 320MHz, I ran 2 DDR400 modules along with a 333MHz 256MB module and the 2 DDR400's clocked down to 320MHz.

In general though the RAM should clocked down to 333MHz.
