HELP...
what im looking for is someone to explain me how to calculate the clock speed, finding out what multiplyer to use ect. so many people try to explain it to me, i even bought a whole book... BUT I NEED A SIMPLE EXPLANATION!!!

Some more info will be required:

CPU. Brand, rating.

Motherboard. brand, model & revision if you know it.

Why, what are you trying to achieve?

its my job, just started....
i have to figure these things out on a daily basis and im looking for one discription that i can use, a formel, whatever, so i can calculate these things. every day i have different motherboards, cpu´s etc. and i dont know where i can read the right numbers on a cpu........... BEGINNER NEEDS HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

well...its easy on some,harder on others...can you use a software solution?im guessing your in some kinda tech support role...theres all sorts of cpu id proggys out there,try googling for some.

this one found and figured out my athlon64...chances are itll work on most machines...and itll fit on a floppy...
