View Full Version : is there a way to cool a graphic card

i did some research and it seems that my card a radeon 7000 could be over heating? Is there away to cool my card or cards on a computer

You could strap a replacement fan on it.

Heatsinks on the ram.

Improve case cooling.

Change around the cards installed lower then the video card to improve airflow.

Install a PCI card that is just a couple of fans,blowing air directly onto your video card.

Or, as I have done,hack a a hole in the side panel of the case and bolt a fan on.

Or water cooling if your an extreme geek..












...Or submerge the entire comp in a tank of cooking oil if your an extreme goose.....

I used a run of the mill 80mm case fan, they cost less then $10,probally can pick them up for 4 or 5 bucks.
