Aint tried it yet but will ghost work from bootup cd/floppy with a SATA drive and write to cd ?

No. It doesn't recognise sATA, you'll need a newer version. Annoying as thats the version I have to. :badpc:

I've had it work on some motherboards.
I think it depends on if in the BIOS you can set SATA to legacy mode or something like that.
If you need a driver disk for SATA to install Windows 2000/XP then Ghost 2003 won't work.
If you can install Windows 2000/XP without any SATA drivers then Ghost 2003 might work.

On some mobos SATA will work (with one SATA hdd / if you're not using RAID), without drivers, when you install XP.

Sorry, Windows install detects sATA nicely on those MBs, Ghost still doesn't. I know I have one of those boards and that version of Ghost.
Right pain it is too.

But see a few other forums and still people have trouble with that version plus sATA. Be better to get a newer version I think. Or some other similar imaging software...
