View Full Version : "Memory cannot be written" error message

Whenever I right-click an .exe file it comes up with an error message saying

im running windows XP pro and other than that i dont know much about the system im using :D

it also occurs when i select an .exe file then click File

Do you know how i could fix this? :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

P.S. I cant reformat as i have ALOT of documents, connections etc. that i want to keep

Any attept to access memory location "all zeros" is illegal, and usually indicates a memory fault.

As a first step, download memtest86 (www.memtest86.com), make the floppy disk, and boot from it.

This happens when i play an mp3 file on winamp,or when i play any game (for
example GTA San Andreas)!!! :badpc:

Why GOD,why??? :angry

PLEASE :help:

1) You may have bad memory - run ye memtest
2) You may have a buggy sound driver - update it.
