My computer always displays the "It is now safe to turn off your computer"
I hasnt always, i used to go off straight away with Win98
Now i use Windows XP Pro It wont do it

Is there anything i can do in Windows or the BIOS to make it shutdown properly again?

Well with some videocard drivers u wont shutdown.

Or it could be the power supply isnt an ATX one. Or the power management in BIOS isnt enabled.
