From the Outlook Tools menu, click Options... .

Click the Preferences tab, then click Email Options... .

Click Advanced Email Options... , then select the checkbox next to Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields. Then click OK to close each of the three open window

Mr_Crust, are you referring to when you are composing an email, and click on the "to" Button, which brings up the "Select Names" window? If you are, then I don't think Safari's suggestion is relevant.

BTW, in Outlook 2000 I can't find the option Safari refers to either - maybe that is in a different version of Outlook.

None of this helps solve your problem, but it may make the confusion slightly less. :)
