You might be thinking of ClipCase Cicero, but you don't need a special program anyway. Notepad, Wordpad & MetaPad all offer a find and replace function under the Edit menu.

All you have to do is put the required number of >> in the first box and nothing in the second. If there are unwanted spaces you can enter those in the first box too and it will strip them out as well.

Cheers

I designed a simple program in c that will do that. Probally not what your after though as you have to save the email first, and the interface is total crap. Plus I'm asking $1495.00,.... let me know if your interested :D

I don't use Outlook, like many foolishly do, but would assume that all email programs these days would have an Edit feature that can Replace the >> or whatever, with nothing or a space. I do it all the time, using Pegasus.

As Cicero says, it is a worthy effort to do. It is a continual niggle when I see emails filled with >>'s by people too lazy to remove them.

What email program do you use?
