Does any one know how to get rid of the MIRAR Tool Bar. Some how it has taken over my computer I really, really hate the tool bar.. along with a lot of other users..
I also think it can change my dial up settings?

Also I dont know if the Trojan Hogil.A. has anything to do with it as my virus checker has quarantined this, but I dont know if it has done some damage on the way through.
Can any one help

Get this http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip from here

http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Make a folder called HJT, and unzip this file into it, then run it. Do a scan, then post the log back here .... There maybe a few more nasties on your system / in your registry.

Looks like a few entries go into the registry. Not a good idea to go into the registry. Unless u know what you're doing tho.

If you have xp ,In IE click tools /manage add ons/click on the mira toolbar and then at the bottom click disable.
Or use toolbar cop from here.

Manual removal info here.
