Can you post some examples of the incompatible code please, I don't have Excel XP, but there may be a work-around for 2000.

here is the code the incompatible parts in bold

Set Rng = Sheet4.Range("A4,C4,E4,A12,C12,E12,G12,I12,A20,C20,E20,G20,I20,K 20,M20,O20,A28,C28,E28,G28")
i = 2
For Each c In Rng
With Sheet3
Application.Union(.Range("A3:A6"), .Range(.Cells(3, i), .Cells(6, i))).Copy
End With

c.PasteSpecial xlPasteValues
Range(c.Offset(-1, 0), c.Offset(3, 1)).Sort Key1:=c.Offset(-1, 1), _
Order1:=xlDescending, Header:=xlYes, _
OrderCustom:=1, MatchCase:=False, Orientation:=xlTopToBottom, _
DataOption1:=xlSortNormal
i = i + 1
Next c

The bold statements are not XP specific - I would suggest recording a copy and pastespecial values operation and cut and paste the code generated. Do the same after recording a sort operation.
