I used to go to this news page daily but it now seems to load incredibly slowly or without pics...
both Firefox and IE,
is it just me ?

Yup it's just you. Just tried BBC, it works fine with Opera.

Pics and all. Get a RSS feed off the site, if u manage to get back on it.

I have a few of the BBC RSS feeds. Saves u going to the site first. Altho, Opera is easier for RSS feeds than firefox! So, I found out.

It even works fine with my often scorned IE. :p

just tried it with FF and it loaded instantly........(jetstream helps :-) .......)

Fine for me on FF. And I get the pix OK..
And I'm also using 98SE.
Sorry you're having problems. It's one of my favourites - a truly great website with heaps of fascinating BBC programme ( & other) links.

Same, IE, Mozilla, Safari, opera... all good, try holding ctrl and f5 (IE) when your on that page...

If all other sites are fine could be a Hosts File problem.

Pity Safari is not available for Windows, the Mac OS X browser is one of the best around.
