I am looking for a few programs
a Real-Time Process Monitor
a real-time list of Open Files
a Real-Time Display of Logged in Users
and A Real-Time Display of TCP/UDP Connections

All for Linux and Console or X

A selection of terminal tools:

a Real-Time Process Monitortop

a Real-Time Display of Logged in Usersw

A Real-Time Display of TCP/UDP Connectionsnetstat -u -t -c

There is bound to be others, or better ways of doing this. :)

Can't think of any GUI tools except for the Process monitor, in which case the desktop manager might have one eg KDE - Process Table. There is a app called GKrellM which is like a configurable system monitor GUI.

EDIT:: removed -c from netstat, makes real horrible out put with watch. Was just about to correct you on that one when you edited it yourself. :)

The netstat -c switch is for continuous reporting, which is what watch -n 1 does anyway.
