HELP!

Somehow or another, the display on my monitor has been turned 90 degrees counter-clockwise!

I'm not sure how it happened, but I need to get it back to the correct settings - How do I Do this?

OS - WinXP

it'll be a setting you have somehow changed in the display properties for your video card.......controlpanel/display/settings/advanced/.......etc....

Well, a little research did the trick. I had to find out what kind of card (this problem is on my wifes system in her office). Anyway, to make a long story short, turns out that with that card, you hit Ctrl+Alt and the up/down arrow keys it'll rotate the screen 90 degrees.

Thanks !!

At the risk of being snarled at, why not just turn the monitor on its side ??? PJ :D :D

You can disable hotkeys to prevent this happening. I do it inadvertently all the time.

PJ,,Thats what I told my wife to do! Just flip it over and I'll deal with it when I get home. But, she had clients coming in and REALLY needed to look professional

And, I did disable those hot-keys. We should be good to go now - COME ON TAX SEASON

That's also an old prank with IT students. Do you know/have freinds who are IT students?
