Hi,, I want to buy these speakers but i dont know if i need a sound card for it cuz i dont have one...


if i need one which ones do u recommend?? :confused:

You haven't told us anything about your computer. Does it have on-board sound? You normally only need a separate sound card if you have problems with the quality or performance of your on-board sound.

Have a look at the back of your pc case. If theres a pink/green/ blue sockets. Thats the soundcard. If u dont see these sockets, u dont have a soundcard.

Have you got some sockets ("audio" 3.5 mm jack sockets usually) on the back panel? Words beside them, such as "headphones", "line", "speakers" (and/or symbols) would be a giveaway. ;)

These days, the "speaker" output will require "amplified" speakers (ones with a an builtin amplifier ... they'll have a volume control and some way of getting power).

ya i see them green/blue/pink does it support a 5.1 surround sound speakers ?
