After installing an extra 512MB of Memory, my computer won't start up. It worked when I remove the extra 512 megs. How do I know if I installed it correctly or if it's damaged?

Thanks
David

What about when you remove the other stick?

Try swaping them around to determine if it is the PC, the slot or the memory.

It depends on what version of Windows you're using, and whether the motherboard you have can support the extra 512mb.

What version of Windows have you got / are you using??

And how much memory would you have with the 512mb installed??

How much ram was in the system, before u added the extra 512mb??
