Hi, I am writing this on behalf of Steve (Bletch on old PF1), who cannot access to forum now since the software was changed. Here is his message:

I am having problems seeing the PF1 site. I have tried using both FF1.0 and IE 6.0, and in both of them all I can see is a blank page. When I select "view source" I can only see the 'html' and 'body" tags. I am running a proxy server for my net access, and can see any other site. I can ping PF1. The proxy I am using is AllegroSurf (Rhinosoft.com) and I have been able to see PF1 before using the same setup. I have cleared all caches.

I will relay any answers/questions to him.

Cheers George

Update:

He can see the site from his server (with the direct connection), but not from a client PC. However on the client PCs all other sites work.

Strange...

Cheers George

I reckon it's a proxy security setting - can he access other vBulletin forums?

Think it's fixed.

He has made a post in the who's who thread. I'll say for sure next time he comes on MSN.

Cheers

i have left mine on the old one and it still loads perfectly :confused:Not mine. I had to change mine to www.pressf1.co.nz (http://www.pressf1.co.nz). Before that it was actually pointing to the forum page and thus when the forum changed the old shortcut no longer worked and required a change.

All fixed people. I made the other post from the server (so it wasn't fixed then) but I tried turning off the proxy ad-filter this evening and that seems to make things work.

Cheers,
Bletch
