View Full Version : Can't see stuff on CD... wrong modes used?

I wrote a CD using nero before I reinstalled windows (2000) and I remeber I used all these funny options like joilet and allow pathdepth of more that watever, relax ISO restrictions.

I did notice the warning that came up that said "these option may make cd unusable on DOS based operating systems" or something to that effect.

However I use windows 2000 and I cannot see the files that I want, that I know are on the disc....

Is there any option I forgot to turn on in windows?

Is there any way I can see these files again without booting up a noppix distro?

Isobuster is very good at reading cds irrespective of the filesystem used. You can find it here (http://www.smart-projects.net/isobuster)

Have you reinstalled Nero?

You could try downloading ISO Buster (http://www.smart-projects.net/isobuster/) and see if you can access the files through that.

Um, I did install nero again...

ISOBuster looks very promising...
