View Full Version : Thunderbird Password

Hi, I've just installed Thunderbird; entered allthings to do with my Slingshot account. Then it asked for my password - which I may have mistyped - and now I get refused entry. No second chance to retry, even clicking 'Help' provokes the warning. Great security but...
Can anyone help please; thanks Sarum

Is this password thing like to save u from typing the username / pw in ?? in Thunderbird?? And when u visit different sites?

When u say slingshot account is this to dial up slingshot, or to get into email?? That Thunderbird refuses entry?

Tools - Options...

Advanced - Saved Passwords - View Saved Passwords...

Remove the one that you may have misstyped and check for mail again.

Thanks Spacemannz - soon as I load Thunderbird there's the warning re- password not accepted and clicking on anything else provokes it.
I see Rob99 has an answer - I shall try it and let you know. Thanks again.
