After recently installing XP SP2 I see that in Norton Internet Security I am warned 'Intrusion Detection' is 'off' when I click 'Turn On' I am told 'Failed to save setting. Please verify that your Windows account is not restricted'

How should I access the 'Windows' account to unrestrict it?

I have Windows firewall 'off' as I use the NIS firewall.

TIA, Peter.

Try this page if that fails to help or the page is the for the wrong version or year etc. put" turn On Norton Intrusion Detection " in the search pane below.
here (http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nip.nsf/16c1d01d537bf4d188256d8e0076b346/db8edb6d356549a288256e7e005994a8?OpenDocument&src=bar_sch_nam)
search (http://search.symantec.com/custom/us/query.html).
