I've accidently press shift+delete to delete a file and just want to know are there any freeware that allows me to recover that file? Or where about is the Recycle Bin folder is located? (not on the desktop but in actual directory)

system restore should do it
Recycle bin is located in the root of the C Drive
Show hidden files & folders will have to be enabled
Hide protected operating system files will aslo have to be unchecked
I wouldn't trust any freeware recovery apps on my system

No, it probably won't unless the file was a system file (but then Windows would have prevented it being dleted as it would be in use)

System Restore is only able to restore System files, not data files.

I have the freeware PC Inspector file recovery program for emergency use:

You may care to try Emergency Boot CD. (http://ebcd.pcministry.com/) It has file and directory recovery, as well as a bunch of other stuff that is useful in times of stress.
