Now that the entire web is back, you can read up on the troubles of web access of another kind. Seems "they" are getting at poor old Maddox (http://maddox.xmission.com/c.cgi?u=websense) and his Best Page in the Universe website.

Please be warned before you use the above link. Some sections of the Maddox (http://maddox.xmission.com/) are blighted, profane, inflammatory, chauvinistic, bigoted, lies, violent, sexist, egotistically opinionated, irrelevant, drivel, abusive, funny, hilarious, irreverent, in your face non-PC, true.

I really really really felt an urgent need for an edit facility after posting the links. I have posted a Maddox link before now but, IIRC, that was late at night and it disappeared fairly quickly.

I'm glad and relieved you like it and thankfull the Mod is off somewhere on a Sunday drive. At least it's balanced in the sense that nothing is sacred, nothing is left to chance, all are open to ridicule and abuse ;)

That brought a smile into my otherwise downer of a day :-)

I found this interesting:
"This page was made using vi in unix. Anything else is for failures."

I just read one of the funniest pieces I think I have ever read, it refers to "kids with ADD", the one about sending all the oldies into the sun was worth a look to.
The world needs more people like Maddox and less people taking what he says as gospel and just having a laugh about it.

long live the best page in the universe

Speaking of funny - check out photo number 4 on this house for sale (http://proxy.prucalifornia.com/AtlasIDXSearch/detail.asp?MLS=40033129&MLSSysID=12#) in the US. It might take a while to open for those on dial-up.

I think i've read nearly every article of maddox's site, its great - the guy is actually intelligent which is always a Good Thing. Plus I admire his stand to KISS (keep it simple stupid) with his website - no crappy flash animations, just easy information. Plus no banner ads etc (I hate to think what bandwidth costs would be considering the number of readers).

Oh well, I hope he keeps up the good work, someone who speaks their mind.
