View Full Version : Can't Read Beyond Ten Folders Deep on CD-R Joliet Disc in Win9x

Does anyone know how to solve the Windows 9x problem of reading beyond ten folders deep on a CD-R disc written using the Joliet file system? Yesterday I wrote a single Joliet session onto a CD-R disc (CDROM XA, track-at-once, didn't close the disc) with a maximum folder depth of 13 folders and can't see any files below ten folders deep in Explorer. Worse still, I get an intermittent blue screen of death saying 'a 32-bit device driver has corrupted video memory' which locks up the system (this is definitely caused by trying to reading the CD). This happens on multiple Windows 95 OSR 2.5 systems I've tried and apparently happens on Windows 98. However, the 'missing' files are definitely on the CD because Windows NT 4.0 and a Macintosh read the disc and open the files perfectly.
