Personally, I like Mozilla Firefox. It's fast, secure and friendly UI.

I reckon Opera. Not free though. The trial is fine it just has one banner that says "Buy Opera"

Use the one you find nice to use - opera is pretty good !

I use the latest Netscape and especially like the tabbed windows, and is readily available on PCW CDs. Firefox is supposed to be very good.

I use Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird as default internet and email programs, but have IE and outlook in the background. You can have more then one internet and email program installed without any problems

If you like customising your browser go for Opera. Otherwise Firefox beats IE hands down. ;-)

Ditto for Opera but keep IE cause u will need it from time to time, some sites don't work on anything but IE Shame. :_|

Yes, go for Opera. A lot of people also like Mozilla - haven't tried it. But keep IE.

My Preference (OS = windows):

Mozilla Firefox
Mozilla
[insert other random Gecko based browser]
Netscape
Internet Explorer
Opera

Unsure about the opera placement, but that shows how little I like it, IE is almost better.

I prefer Firefox because of the tabbed browsing. The ability to keep track of and run downloads from inside the browser is also good.

Firefox version 0.9 as my default browser...others just for reference....

How do you turn on TABed browser in Firefox?? I tried version 0.9 but the only way is to hold down the Ctrl key and then it opens a second tab.

I would use it if I new this bit.

At present I use the latest Opera mainly because of that one feature. Auto TABs.

Ctrl T to open a new tab or or to open a link right click, open in new tab

If you go to Tools, Extensions, Get more extensions and install the Single Window and Tabbrowser Preferences extensions you can have a little more control over your tab preferences. The Single Window extension will open external links in a new tab in the background.

Well that really changed things :-( .. Now it runs as slow as a dog. Every time I click on a link the CPU goes to 100% for about 20 seconds until the page starts to load. Also can't access the options menu.

Well I guess a reinstall of Firefox again..
