Hey,

I have a HP 5181 keyboard and the shortcut buttons up the top (shopping, search, connect etc..) arn't working. Do I need to activate them???

Thanks AJ

I'd say that you should have a cd/floppy that has the necessary software to activate those keys.

Plenty of places, but it depends what version of Windows.
And you don't mention that.

Simply put
HP 5181 keyboard driver
into Google and take your pick.

HP website will probably have it as well.

What was the name of the file you downloaded?

If it was an .exe file, then run it.

My HP 8201 keyboard doesn't need drivers - must be a generic signal.

Going into a game, or something that accepts incoming keyboard signals and tells you what they are (i.e. not word) and see what happens when your press them.

Also try the hotkey selector in winamp.
