Your shouldn't be asking questions like that =P

It depends what speed you download at... if you are on an unlimited plan, i would leave it going over night.

Assuming you're referring to the Photoshop Trial Version, then it's about a 150mb file, so 16 hours sounds ok - but depends on your connnection speed.

Hey Gods-Hitman

Say to yourself aloud, 10 times a day:

Assumption is the Mother of all F*** Ups.

May not do any good but there's always a possibility.

The trial version of photoshop and photopshop elements is often found on pc magazines cover discs. Lot easier shelling out 8-10 bucks than waiting until the second coming to download it.
On second thoughts, most big bookshops carry small computer booklets/mags with everything you need (in shareware format ) to get started in certain areas. One of them is on the topic of digital photography and I believe it has all the big name digital editing programmes in shareware format for around 15 bucks.

Not at all,it lets you use it as long as you like,it also lets you use all features....bar one,the ability to save your work.

Cunning,very cunning.

Waste of time even downloading it unless your contemplating buying it,and i doubt the trial will sway you....seeing as its more expensive then an xd falcon.....

Heee hee
[Print Screen] might be handy for saving full screen graphics. Not a piracy button, a feature that's been there for years.

the tryout version of PS CS took me personally 5 days. I used Download Accelerator. Could not be hooked online for so long each day for obvious reasons.

If you want it only to edit photos, why bother there is better and cheaper out there. One I recommend is Picture Window obtainable from www.dl-c.com. PW is created by the guy who developed Lotus 1-2-3
specifically as a photo editor and unlike others is not a modified graphics package.
It's hard to know where to stop in singing its praises: a clean and consistent user interface, fast image processing, exceptional documentation, 48 bit image support, lower cost upgrade path, It's very satisfying to have one high-quality, well-integrated tool that serves my photographic needs. There's a 30 day trial download available and to purchase costs $50 to $150 NZ depending on options chosen.

hmmmm.........better and cheaper?

Not a bad little app,but to limited for the price(i wouldn't pay for it),and nearly too limited to be of any use outside of....um...a bit of color balancing,Have a look at FXFoto, its along the same lines but far superior and its free.

I actually found a version of photoshop on the net for $36!

All legit and everything. It's a well known site. However they are in america and to fedex it over (no other shippers are available) it cost in excess of $200!

Find and download "the gimp" sherilee... or get it off a pc mag cover cd. I think pc authority have it on every CD.

The gimp is a free picture editor that does pretty much everything that photoshop does. However going from photoshop to the gimp is a little confusing so start on the gimp, save yourself $$$, support the free software world and you'll be sweet.

:^O

What's the legal point of view on this:

Install Photoshop trial.
Image/Ghost partition with OS and Program on it.
Do some fantastic graphics work.
After 30 days restore the image.
Do some more fantastic graphics work.

Thanks for all the input.
Well got up this morning in anticipation - just like Christmas LOL

Installed it and am playing with it - it works and it saves but geez it looks complicated guess I'll play with the box.

No really it does look complex all I wanted was a user friendly app.

However did discover a marvellous Screen Capture. "Any Capture" - now that is user friendly.

How old is the $36 version? Certainly no recent version going for $36 is legit. The supplier probably claims to be providing a "backup" to your original legit copy so it's up to you to find a serial.
Fedex Intl. Priority should be around $30 US.
Photoshop Elements 2.0 can be bought here for $139-$159

Don't be stupid,

1.Anyone looking for warez via HTTP is retarded
2.I own the real deal, its paid for itself many times over.
3.If i was looking for it i could snap up an illigal copy faster then it took you to run the search via google.
4.I want to see the site Hamster bought it from so i can roast him for being conned.
5.pppffffffffttttttt
