View Full Version : go-back

I have "go-back" installed on my computer dual booting windows 98 and Mandrake 9.1. If I leave it running, Linux will not open so I have had to disable go-back in 98. I would like to enable go-back again but still boot into Linux when I wish. Anyone else had this problem??

use drive image 2002 it saves thrashing your HDD and does much the same thing gives you a restore point in case things go wrong

Thank you, Kiwibeat. What is drive image 2002 and how do I get it.
Will it definitely work with Linux??

You could look here (http://pcworld.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php?masterid=580574) for a PCWorld (US) download. There is a review linked to the page as well.

Sorry, this site (http://www.majorgeeks.com/download147.html) appears to have a better speed, but the download is of a "crippled" version that will show what the product does, without actually doing an image you can save. The full version is a bit expensive.

Ghost works with Linux too, provided you don't mind using a boot disk. I always use a B.D. anyway as I don't like trusting my backups to GUI driven systems.
