They are, indeed. But it's so expensive. Are there any retailers selling it in Auckland? I need about 100 pcs. Have phoned most of the big computer retailers in the region but none of them selling it.

Have a look here (http://www1.jaycar.co.nz/productView.asp?ID=PM1442&CATID=&keywords=rj45&SPECIAL=&form=KEYWORD&ProdCodeOnly=&Keyword1=&Keyword2=&pageNumber=&priceMin=&priceMax=&SUBCATID=) and it looks like $18.00 for a packet of 50. Anyway, you could ring and confirm as Jaycar have a shop in Auck.

now how's about a supplier of the wee mobo washers to isolate the mobo from the chassis - used to be you always got washers with a case , but seems no longer - DSE and Jaycar service people looked blankly at me , obviously I look and sound a fool , surely there must be some place you can get a bucket of then for not much cash ??? Or does no-one bother with them any more ??? And what has this to do with the original post ??? And if I'm to google what do I put in ??? "wee mobo washers nz"??? "CAse with washers nz"??? .... ?:|

apparently it's better to not use them, as then it grounds the earth on the mobo to the case... or something along those lines..
