I was wondering, theres some pretty awesome scenes in The Matrix Revolutions, as I have the dvd, and a dvd-rom on my computer, I was wondering how you can capture an image of some of the scenes, so I can use them as a wallpaper for my desktop.

previous attepts had me watching the movie in MsPaint.... lol

IV tryed that, no hope...
The reason you can't print screen is because the DVD is using DX or was it video acceleration I can't remember but heres how to do it:
1)If you using and app like WinDvd or something theres usually a button for saving the screen to a bmp in "My pics"

2)http://www.download.com/Paraben-s-Screen-Capture/3000-2192_4-10213723.html?tag=dir

(Or something smiler)

if you are using the following players How to take screen shots with Windows Media Player and real player.
wmp: You may notice you get a blank black screen when you attempt to take pictures from windows media player. To fix this problem you need to disable hardware acceleration before you take a screenshot.
Open windows media player. Open the "tools" dropdown list then click options. Click the performance tab and under "Video acceleration" slide the slider all the way to the left to disable it. Now click ok to save the setting.
Now to actually take the screen shot hold the Alt button and then hit the print screen button. Now you will be able to paste the image into your image editing software.

Real Player
To take a screenshot from Real Player you must open the 'tools' dropdown box and select 'preferences'. In the new window select 'hardware' from the category list on the left. Then under the 'video card compatibility' section slide the slider all the way to the left so it says 'disable optimized video and overlays'. Now you should be able to take screen shots from Real Player.
