I realise that any decent digicam records the date and time when a picture is taken using the EXIF format.
My question is, do any cameras, or camera brands, let you 'permanently' print the date and time on the image?
I am also aware that printers and editing software do this, but I need a camera that can date stamp, like the 'date backs' on film cameras.

Thanks

Kodak DC240/280 does this apparently (other Kodak models may as well).

Thanks very much :-), I will check out Kodak digicams.

Is anyone aware of any other digital cameras that do date stamping?

There are Sonys that can do this. This may be convenient for recording events but is hardly serious proof of date if that is what you are looking for. Any digital image can have a date added or changed.

Thanks PaulD.
While I agree that a digital image can easily be altered, a date stamp should be sufficient for my purpose.
Is there an alternative option(other than film)?

My Sony DSC F828 does this.

My Kodak EasyShare CX6330 does and my previous Kodak DX series did as well.
