I'm running a minimal system, 333 mhz. cpu, 128 mb. memmory, Intel micro board with on-board everything. I've used the system for years with no problem, now it's slow to shut down or I wake up the next morning and it hasn,t. I tried Windows shut-down patch - it made no difference. (Windows 98 SE). Any sugestions?

Did you recently install or made any changes to the system? Eg new network card or ADSL router, new software, upgrades etc.

Most of the shutdown problems with W98SE that I have dealt with were related to network connections.

How full is your hard disk? (My Computer, then right click on C:, then Properties).
