I'm connecting my Laptop (XP Home) to my Desktop (Win2k) via Wireless Lan thru an Ad-Hoc setup. The first time I set the 2 systems up, I managed to connect and setup network places and access files/folders on each PC from the other PC. All was good but just recently I find that I can establish a connection between the two PC's, but I cannot receive packets only transmit packets. I have tried everything I can think of, adjusting settings, reinstalling drivers etc to no avail. I can still connect via ethernet cable no problems, but have all this wireless hardware I now can no longer use. Pls help...........

Cheers
Terry

cheers for the assistance guys. I have managed to fix this by renewing the IP address using the IPCONFIG utility.
