Sometimes when doing a reply the e-mail disappears from the inbox and sometimes it does not. How do I control this action?

Hi olldaddy

Do you mean that if you compose a reply to an email and click send, the email you are replying to disappears? If so (and this is only information gathering) do you use the "Reply" button or do you start a new email and type in the recipient's address. Also, what version of outlook do you have?

Just trying to narrow things down.

I am using the reply button on OUTLOOK 2002....On looking at past replies on some there is an arrow indicating that I have sent a reply but on others the reply just disappears to show up again in Sent e-mails...
THANKS for your help with this as it appears to be a minor problem but i guess there is simple answer.....
