I need to have a windows xp emergency startup disk so that I can restore some of the system files which have gone corrupted. Unfortunately I lost the floppy disk. Does anyone know where I can get a windows xp emergency startup disk creator or something similar so that I can create one? I am now only running 98 with xp installed on another drive.

You should be able to boot off your XP installation disk and select "repair".

More information can be found here (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;314058).
