just saw this (http://www.flexbeta.net/main/articles.php?action=show&id=39).

a little interesting but what got me was this link (http://www.pestpatrol.com/pestinfo/f/flashget.asp). pest patrol obviously don't check things out to well. to remove the spyware from flashget (which is a good download manager) simply remove the cydoor spyware or replace it with a fake one ;-)

Interesting article Tweak'e - just shows that it is good to use both Spybot Search & Destroy along side Ad-aware. Each has it weaknesses and strengths.

Wonder why Pest Patrol removes a known "fake" Cydoor file?

Adaware has very many more frequent signature updates than Spybot, which seems to give a higher confidence level in it's effectiveness, to my way of thinking.
