Hi all.

I've had a good old look around for the drivers for this modem and after many failed attemps I'm here. It is an old Rockwell (Connexant) modem, with this on the chip:

I've done countless google searches and am still empty-handed. Linuxant doesn't seem to support this old model, maybe someone knows where I can find some Linux drivers for this modem?

"isa rc288dpi linux" to Google gives a few encouraging looking links.

What a real hardware modem... if set with the right combination of jumpers, being a hardware modem, Linux should recognise it no problem. What Linux is it?
