Hi ya all!

Can anyone tell me how to delete previous users from the drop down list in MSN 6?

When MSN kicks in, you have the option to log in as another user and there is a drop down list of a whole lot of other previous accounts that I have used!

Some of these are now old and inactive and i want to remove them from this dropdown list but can't!

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling MSN.
I have tried searching the registry as well with no luck.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Darcy.

Its been a while since Ive last done this, but Im pretty sure you can do the following:
Click Start
-Click on the lil icon up the top (If its not there, go Control Panel and User Accounts)
-Click on Home up the top-left
-Click on your current username
-Click on Manage Network Passwords up the top-left
-Delete the relevant ones, and IIRC, removing the passport/NET* account will stop userXYZ from auto-logging in :-)

Hope this helps

If you have XP, either:

1.
Go to Control Panel / User Accounts

Click the name of the User / Admin

Click manage my Network Passwords

In the Stored User Names and Passwords box that comes up, select and remove unwanted ones.

OR

2.
Go to Start / Help

In the Search Field type delete stored user names

Click the result under "Pick a Task"

Follow the instructions on the right.

** What I did was Clicked "Add to Favorites" and now all I do is go to Help, click Favorites and it's there for next time.
