I bought two new fans with speed sensors. I connected them to the "Chassis Fan" and "Power Fan" sockets. BIOS can tell they're there, and read their speeds, but Asus Probe can't. I know the fans arent faulty, so does anyone know what another good program for checking fan speeds from windows is?

Mobo : Asus A7V600

Hmmm whatya mean by speed sensors? Just as long as the fans are 3 pin and connected to the chassis and fan connections on the mobo, Asus probe should pick them up. the 1 or the 3rd pin on these fans when
connected reads the RPM of the fans thru whatever monitorig program.

Did you "TICK" the box by Power fan, CPU fan, and Chassis fan?

If these boxes arent ticked, it'll say Monitor Paused!

And what version of Asus probe have u got installed? The latest is
2.22.04. I use the ASUS P4P800 and it works fine. BUT I wouldnt call it the best program for this. You could try motherboard monitor, I think it is. I dunno what the site is tho. You have to set different settings to get it to work as it should tho.

Yeah by speed sensor i mean that third pin, the one that counts revolutions.

It's plugged in fine cause bios can detect its speed, and when i click it in asus probe, it alerts me.. it's stuck at zero.
