Hi one and all
WIN 2000 Office 2000
I have just had a case of Outlook Express (6) on a customers machine being corrupted during a power fail, and because of a whole pile of issues it was decided to install Outlook 2000.
This all went fine but with one small problem.
When in Outlook and typeing in the address field for a new message, normally if you typed "SM" the address folder opens to allow you to select your contacts starting with SM i.e Smith, Small, Smart etc.
I am sure that there must be a tool/option to fix this but so far have not been able to find this.
Any ideas ??

Outlook 2000 does not have the auto-fill feature.

However, you can use the Check names feature.

1. Type the name of the contact in to the To field
2. Click the Check Names button (this is on your tool bar)
