I am receiving Messages by "Messenger service" that appear scrambled. Last one has seemingly sender's address www.ku12345.com/ab.htm.
Any idea what it can be aboutand how to make them readable?
Regards,
Taly.

no, and if you do not like them, just disable the messenger service,

if you want to send messenges to people like that

*open up command prompt
*type "net send"
*computer name or * fro the whole network or ip address
*messege

As far as I can determine, the message is meant to appear scrambled, or else is in another language which your computer cannot display - it is a direct-to-desktop spam.

To stop receiving it in Windows XP, open the Run prompt (click the Start menu, and click on Run), and type in "net stop messenger", without the quotes, and press enter. Then re-open the Run prompt and type in "msconfig" (without the quotes again). Go to the 'Services' tab, and find the service named "Messenger". Deselect the tickbox next to it.

In Windows 2000, it is a similar process, but you will need to go into the Computer Management window (right click on My Computer and select Manage), expand the Services category, and disable the Messenger service from running.
