On their honeymoon the new husband said to his bride, "I have a
confession to make that I should have made before, but I was concerned that it might affect our relationship."

"What is it dear?" she asked.

"I'm a golfer," he said.

"What's the big deal about that?" she asked.

He replied, "Well, when I say I'm a golfer, I mean that I'll be on the golf course Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday afternoon and any holidays. If it comes to a choice between your wishes and golf, then golf wins".

She pondered a moment and said, "I thank you for your honesty. In the same spirit of honesty, and I should tell you that I've concealed something about my own past that you should know about. I'm a hooker."

"No problem," was his response. "Just narrow your stance a little and overlap your grip, swing through the ball and that should clear it right up."

Somehow I don't think this is "G" rated (Bruce might not be too happy with you). I learnt the hard way.

It is G rated alright somebody, the other letters of the alphabet (and any inferences therefrom) reside in the reader's mind.

Just a play on words and a nice twist.

You are joking aren't you? I thought you played golf. :D

Google's so handy sometimes:

Hook (http://www.leaderboard.com/GLOSSARY_HOOK) and Hooker (http://www.leaderboard.com/gloss_h.htm) - look that one up. ;-) :p :D

LMAO :D

Have to confess, I was starting to wonder why "hookers" was linked to "tents" on that golf glossary website ...
